We were so impressed the first night that we decided to go back and have it the second night too. We also had dinner at Fireside Grill which was in the casino itself. But they have great drinks, good food, and live music at night. My friend and I shared lunch at Margaritaville, and it was great! It's a chain, so I'm sure you've seen them before. There were plenty of options as far as restaurants were concerned, but we really only had time to check out two of them. The reviews of the hotel looked great, and we were excited about the fact that we wouldn't really have to leave the property, which is key right now. Tulsa is only 3.5 hours from Kansas City, so it's a relatively quick drive. It just so happens that one of my bridesmaids that lives in Kansas City, had a birthday the same weekend of our would be wedding, so we felt like we needed to celebrate! Joke's on us because we had to cancel that too due to safety concerns with Covid, quarantining, etc.
We knew we wanted to do something fun that weekend so we weren't stuck at home thinking about it, so we decided to plan a trip with our friends to Destin, Florida. If you've been following for any length of time, you know that we made the decision to cancel it about three months ago. Our wedding was supposed to be July 11, 2020.
